Welcome to The Crane Trust website!  The Trust is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing habitat for cranes and other migratory birds along the Big Bend Region of the Platte River Valley.

Through our research center, land trust, and conservation actions, we ensure whooping cranes, sandhill cranes and other migratory birds have the habitat they need to rest and feed during their migration to and from their nesting grounds.
